There has barely been a day when i didnt want to post about it.

Complete randomness of thread aside, not enough decent westerns come out of hollywood anymore. I kinda have a thing for westerns (i've seen over 200 easy probably) It was a main genre in Hollywood for about 50 years with tons released every year and now it's like one every 5 years. Major releases anyway.

They ran the genre into the ground maybe (not maybe, they did) but now the good thing is you could recycle the best stories of older westerns and the general public wont remember or notice. This was the last good one i think, the 3:10 remake (though i didn't like the last bit of it so much). I guess Appaloosa was alright but Renee Zellwegger is in it and she pretty much ruins everything shes in.
