Well yes they forbid you to take anything else while the trial lasts. I mean yeah they only check your urine and blood when you get there and there's probably a lot of stuff they wouldnt see unless they are specifically looking for it but....i can't afford to take the risk of getting kicked out of a trial.

Anytime i have to do something other than sit at home i will have anxiety (well not doing common routine stuff like groceries and stuff). Like i've had near constant anxiety for about a week now because i have this trial on monday. There's no real reason to feel anxious about it. It's not the medication i'm anxious about. It's just the break in routine, the stress of making it there on time, of making sure i get proper sleep the night before before i go and sleeping when i'm there (it fucks with my regular schedule). Shit like that. Sleep is a major concern in my life because without enough anxiety progresses to full panic mode and once i enter that you're looking at possibly weeks to recover and get back to a more normal state probably.

fwiw it helps a bit to shampoo with neutrogena T gel once or twice a week if you have dry scalp at all. it kind of "clears the field" for follicles

i use a caffeine shampoo every day and nizoral 3 times a week
those are sort of drying but caffeine has sort of been shown to cause hair to grow faster and the nizoral reduces inflammation and is considered as essential as finasteride or minox
at some point i'm pretty sure i'll be able to ditch those and just use regular shampoos again
well maybe the caffeine, the nizoral is fine since it's only m/w/f and i use my regular shampoo after it

Do you have activities?

No. Just a lot of blood draws. I just bring a lot of movies. There are tv's and they a have whole selection of dvds but people always want to watch dumb shit and even when it isn't, it's dubbed french and i don't do dubbed movies. Right now funnily enough they're watching something i watched on the bus ride here yesterday.

You have to bring your own entertainment. I bring books, ipod, this laptop and movies. that's enough for a few days. If i did the ones that last a week or more i'd probably go crazy though.

My parents are always blasting top 40 country and I just can't. One of the most unpleasant things I can imagine subjecting yourself to why subject other people to it too

So now I'm looking for a higher paying job

First of all iv'e seen shitloads of jackie chan films thank you. Though those HK films dubbings are both kinda hilarious but also kinda unfortunate.

And well while i do prefer subbed movies 99% of the time, i should have been more specific. What i DO mind mostly is english language films, like say hollywood, dubbed in french. Because clearly i speak english so dubbed is just pointless and annoying and if you speak more than one language than you've done this thing at some point in your life where you saw a film in both its original language and whatever other language you also understand (even better if it was playing in the first language and subbed in the other or vice versa) and invariably you've noticed one thing, the translation is always always losing a lot and kinda fucking blows. Everytime ive done this i found myself shouting at my screen "THAT IS NOT REALLY WHAT THEY FUCKING SAID!"

I have to say if i've seen the movie a lot as a kid i may have a different opinion. Like i'll know the dubbing is lacking but these are the lines i learned... Like for example I know the SW trilogy in both languages and i'm ok watching it in either. Providing it's the original dubbing. They changed it at some point.

I'm about to resign after having an old friend stay a couple of nights over the weekend. He basically told me that living in this area had changed my priorities and thoughts and I had become aspirational and boring.

He's just taken a couple of years off from being a project manager to pursue being a working artist - he's an illustrator, basically - though he's qualified as an industrial designer.

I'm going to just go for it and start writing.

That's when you know your subsistence is assured no matter what. When you decide to pick up writing as serious alternative to a job.

I just don't know that "im gonna be a writer" is a realistic career path. Its usually soemthing someone does try while having a steady income. But if your income isn't needed well... that's the best moment to try it i guess... i mean i suppose if nobody ever considered it as a career path, there'd be no writers. It's really not about how well you write nowadays anyway, but more like about what. And also like anything else, who do you know?

listen, y0, though. i've always been into writing and funny shit. i wrote a play that got performed at school when i was 9, dammit.

I am in no way capable of writing natural dialogue
The scripts I wrote I will laugh out loud at but I realize they wouldn't work because no human being sounds like that

I went to buy a book on comedy writing and then I saw it was written by a guy who wrote for bob hope and it's like bob hope is one of the least funny people to ever exist

Clearly the best way to learn to be funny is to take classes.
