I know that a lot of people think it's just a question of waiting it out until we reach a power vacuum again such that a revolution could take hold, or even the idea of accelerationism so that we can reach the tipping point faster. that's an unsatisfying answer to me though, and it can't hurt to study/inform people about marxism in the meantime.

It wouldn't have gone to the courts if Nader hadn't gotten all those "protest" votes. Nader had 100,000 votes in Florida. Gore "officially" lost the state by 500 votes.

Buchannon only got 17k votes in Florida. And over 3,000 of them were in Palm Beach, and probably in error because of the fucked up ballot layout.

the people who voted for nader (nationally) were mostly Dem voters. People that voted in the previous election and likely voted in the next election. They would have voted for Gore if Nader hadn't been in the campaign.

The fact that those voters have virtually ignored third party candidates since 2000, and the fact that each of the 3 presidential elections since have had bigger voter turn outs (especially the past two for Democrats), seems to suggest that liberal dems learned their lesson in 2000.
