If you love them and love them and love them and love them and love them, they'll end up ok in the end.

All I know is that I'd do a better job at raising my kids than my father has ever done.

It's the hardest thing I've ever done, but I love every day of it. She is incredibly intelligent and is a joy to be around.

My father's done a crappy job at raising his children, I'm saying I'd be a better father than my father.

You can teach them to hate the things you hate.

i'll probably never have kids because my genes suck (mental health and physical issues) and i don't want to subject anyone to that. everyone on my mom's side has major depression and/or a psychotic illness

i never thought i'd even want a kid, but i guess my maternal clock or something is going off. i'd never do it until i am doing a lot better but maybe one day i can adopt. i dont want to continue the cycle of... fucked up parenting, and I'm afraid i don't know how

D., you seem like a really great parent. Starla, you too. Your kids are lucky. and so are you :)

it's disgusting and egocentric for each and every individual to think they must have children.
human population is growing disgustingly fast and we're relentless, and bring much more harm than good. i think somewhere along the way it became just another thing people do if they don't want to be considered nonconformist, rather than fathoming it and thinking about it and following through

It makes me a little sad to think that I'll be a crotchety lonely old man with no one to go to because I will not have any kids but whatevs, smoke cigarettes til I die.

I have a genetic right to procreate. If the anti natalists are worried about over population, then they are free to sacrifice their lives and make room for new ones.

I have zero desire to have kids. And if that fate should befall me? I'm not getting rid of the coupe!
