View Full Version : If billy died, do you think that the other 3 would still play together in a band?

Quite a few people are questioning the 'chemistry' between the current band members. Do you think that if Billy died or otherwise could no longer play music, the remaining 3 members of the current band would continue playing music together (whether under a different name or not)?

Ofc not. They are there to get famous and launch their own projects in the future.
Look to Nicole one day say SP being the best thing ever other day talks about her other band shits.
They dont give a shit for SP and almost nothing each other, I would say...

Is Billy the drummer?

Jeff would probably go back to the Lassie Foundation. The only chemistry in the band is between him and Billy. Without Billy there is no reason to continue playing music with the others.

As far as I can tell, she's probably less committed to TC&L than SP. And she plays way better bass parts on Oceania than on TC&L's record.

Hmm... can you imagine an alternate universe version of SP with James as frontman, Jimmy as drummer and Jeff and Nicole as guitar and bass?

After seeing the Black Diamond performance Mike could seriously do more lead vocals.

mike can sing..

I'd like to hear some songs one day with either Mike or Nicole on lead vocals. both have better voices than James or D'arcy ever did.

thanks andrewfarce.

I'm serious though. For example, nobody in the current Little River Band was in the original band, and the original bandmembers aren't allowed to use the name.

they would get a new lead singer on vocals and steal the smashing pumpkins name just like the band live stole live's name without ed kowalcyk. Then they would end up like fuel without bret scalyons and would suck.

I think they would get Ed Kowalczyck on lead vocals and reform the smashing pumpkins.

What kind of stupid question is that?

However, in a recent interview he's taken it one step further. "Maybe there comes a point like Kiss where Kiss is going to continue without Gene [Simmons] and Paul [Stanley]." He told the the Daily Beast: "Maybe there'll come a point in Smashing Pumpkins history where this band will continue on without me. I'll just write songs."

I'm taking this as proof Billy reads the boards.

why, if the band continued without him (lol), would he still write the songs?

also we have lots of stuff like this that proves he reads the boards. hi billy! :)
