I don't think there's anyone in the country that would come to Texas that would be an improvement. I think I would maybe call out Billy Gillespie because if someone can come into a program that didn't win a single game in the Big 12 the previous year and then turn them into a tourney team, that's edge.

Smart is exactly what I mean, a risk. You know you change coaches and you think it's a no brainer but they don't fit into the system or they actually aren't solid recruiters or whatever. There's not a huge track record with him, I'd much rather have someone that's already proved themselves repeatedly.

He also pretty much has this exact same team for the next two seasons (9th youngest in NCAA) and may have a preseason top-25 team. If he was of the mindset that he'd like to build something (a la Gonzaga), he certainly could.
