The audience response to Quasar was pretty good, but I think some of it was just people going off cause it was the first song of the set and it was loud. Like Oceania I think the recorded version will determine whether it gets played live much beyond next year.

yeah I agree with most of this. Except that Panopticon is more than OK in my book. Oceania live losses me at the end a bit ... but the lyrics are interesting ... Musically Oceania is shaping up to be like a culmination of the all the styles Sp has been doing over the years, sort of like a photo album. I dont really like the 2007 prog rock style but the songs have grown on me somewhat. I did have expectations for tbk though and only 1/3 of the songs there are decent.
