Or so claims the Smashing Pumpkins Facebook group. Says she was "too embarassed" to say so before because she thought they wouldn't let her join...

If she was born in 1979, she would have been 13 or 14 when those pictures were taken (unless the photos were taken much earlier, which I doubt). The girl in that photo looks WAY younger than that. Not buying it.

This is all part of Billy's plan to make us all accept the new members as "real SP". Any guesses as to which sleeve Jeff will turn up on (and don't say the inside cover of Zero)?

If you considered this as real for more than a fraction of a second you either don't have a sense of humour (or what Corgan considers to be funny)/ or are deeply retarded.

I was afraid to click on the comments to that on Facebook. There needs to be a virus that hits only Youtube commenters and Facebook commenters of the Smashing Pumpkins.

What constitutes a "real story"???

All that NME did was post a recap of the twitter feeds. That's not a story.

A real "story" would be something written after calling anybody involved in the production of the photos, as well as Nicole and Billy to get the record straight.

Even if it's a goof by billy, what's the big deal? Do oldies fans of SP all have such wounded hearts that a single tweet will send them into dispair?

Trotskilicious
02-20-2011, 01:06 AM
yeah because that would be fucking monstorously retarded. a real social media superstar would do this a month before surprise dropping an album at the end of the month. nawmeen?

but then billy would have to have confidence in his material and he'd rather have everyone shit all over one song at a time. it's weird though because i've read good press about the vol 2 so why would he quit now? Facebook trauma?

He better not fuck up the rare spotlight he's been given. If he really does have some amazing songs that he's holding back and has yet to release then he needs to release those soon. But no such songs probably exist so I think they should just release a previously studio recorded version of gossamer when jimmy was around as a radio single. And you know there has to be at least one studio version of gossamer sitting around somewhere unreleased.

Yeah, that'll do it. A 25 minute "radio single" will be a huge success.

Who would've thought the weird looking one would've grown up to be kinda hot?

"An all growed up Ali Laenger tells TMZ there's no way the bassist -- Nicole Fiorentino -- is the girl who posed for the '93 "Siamese Dream" album shot because:

-- Nicole's age doesn't match. Doing the math, Nicole would have been about 14 when the pic was shot ... the girl on the album is clearly around 7.
-- Ali says the photo was shot specifically for the album, and not a candid pic as Nicole has claimed.

Corgan tweeted Nicole's tale a few days back, but he's either joking with fans ... or Nicole pulled one over on him. "

Who wants to bet if this was a prank on Billy that Nicole gets fired in the next few months?

Trotskilicious
02-23-2011, 03:58 PM
yeah people don't forget about SD and MCIS. in fact the fact that those albums are so huge and so popular makes billy's career trajectory even more mystifying.
