Does anybody else feel the same way? I think it's the bass-line. I still prefer Perfect to both of them.

the only really awesome parts in these songs are in 1979: ornamental arrangements, false relation leading into the chorus at 2:04 and the bridge at 2:32

atom bomb sounds like a crap live version of 1979 with a drum machine. the guitar version is super-butts

has anyone listened to 'eye' lately

now there's a song that hasn't aged well. on the other hand 'try, try, try' has done pretty well. cut two minutes off that and you've got a pretty sweet pop song

What's wrong with Eye? I like "techno-goth" Pumpkins.

yup

i wasn't disagreeing with you amigo, i was answering the OP. i actually like both versions of Atom Bomb, probably preffing the m2 version overall.

The alternate version of "Try, Try, Try" blows the Machines of God version out of the water imo.

I was just about to post this. The M2 version is so airy. The other one sounds clunky in comparison.
