the way i understood it is that the alternate version of teargarden theme is just (part of) the normal version, reversed and slowed down.

you can play any song at any speed (more than three different speeds) and in reverse. so i'm not sure what you're trying to ask there.

if you play the normal version at 33 or 45 rpm, it both sounds wrong. so the "correct" speed must be something else here too.

normally, yes. it's not a rule though. some of them are 33 rpm.

example in recent sp releases: the that's the way 7". the uk release is 45 rpm, but the us release is 33 rpm.

i can throw it on my old turntable and try playing it at 78 if you're really desperate.

From the looks of it, it seems as though the Fellowship will be released on a Vampire Diaries soundtrack... Check out vampirediaries.com ... That's just my guess...
