They way they discuss tapers in this article makes me feel leet for having been "in" on the trading thing over a decade ago. But I think that the Pumpkins, for some reason or another, have always been one of the more prominently represented bands in the taping community (as well as in the online community! There used to be more SP pages than you could shake a stick at.) I just assumed many other bands might have the equivalent but also kind of got the impression that this might not be the case. It must say something about the psyche of the Pumpkins fan, eh? Also--if this was the "old" Beeb, they would have not just put out a story but would have featured a whole documentary about it on Channel Two. I miss those documentaries...now it's apparently just a lot of reality shows. |
