Not the tracks that are ripped from TAFH of Machina II, but like 6 others or whatever that haven't appeared anywhere else. I thought that version of Saturnine was good but everything else....ehhhh. Also, I always feel that Eye should have been included.

conceptually it's a flop IMHO.
MCIS aleady had a B-sides compilation (TAFH)
Maahina already had an out-take compilation (MACHINA2)
so i really can't see where billy was going with Judas-O
i know Adore didn't have an out-take album, and it would have been nice if it did, yet an afterthought tagged onto the Greatest hits just made it lame.
Judas-O would have been win if it included more 'produced' Adore era songs like Blissed&Gone and Waiting
as much as I've always loved billy's acoustic intimate songs (soothe, stumbeline), My Mistake,Sparrow, Winterlong and Soot&Stars stay lost on me in the context of this compilation among the other songs.
the adore demos i always loved were Lover, Chewing Gum & Do You Close Your Eyes! sad they didn't make the cut.
would have been nice to ******* adore era LGTWTY, LostHighways Tear, and some Batman soundtrack stuff.

I like it, but I wish it didn't have anything from TAFH.
Strangely enough, I got Judas O before TAFH, (that's not the strange part) and my favourite songs from TAFH ended up being those that are on Judas O.

Untitled should've been on Judas 0 instead of Rotten Apples. Because you Are and Rock On are awful. Sparrow and Saturnine are okay. My Mistake, Waiting, Winterlong, Soot and Stars, Blissed and Gone are all good.
they didn't need to put any of the TAFH songs on there, it should have been an artefact comprised of Adore and Machina era songs, like PI was for Gish and SD.
as everyone else says, the tafh/m2 stuff is redundant and stupid. tafh should've just been a 2 disc thing anyway [and while i'm at it, should've included methusela, speed, and towers of rabble].
judas 0 should've had more adore demos and at least the b-sides summer, czarina, once in a while, and speed kills
i never minded because you are but the rock on cover was crap, aside from the kick ass drums of course

There is no studio Towers Of Rabble.
"A home demo recorded in my bedroom the day it was written, this one was never supposed to come out. I never really liked it much, but a lot of my friends said it was one of their favorite songs. At the last minute it replaced a song called 'Towers of Rabble,' because I think I liked that one even less." -BC (Guitar World 1/97)

Because one of the Uber Leet (D4 maybe) personally asked Billy about studio Towers Of Rabble and was told by Billy that there is no studio Towers Of Rabble. This all came out about 7 years ago when someone started a hoax claiming they had a tape with Rabble on it.

True but which version of the story is a lie. Billy also claimed he rerecorded Adore with Jimmy and Jimmy claims it never happened.
By the way the way I tried finding the orignal hoax thread but have come up blank I can find 2 threads that reference it, one of them started by me:
and another one started a few months later, but I can't find the thread from the main board where all the conversation took place. I've looked at just about every thread Google has indexed with the word Rabble in it.

the blamo thread doesn't exist anymore. sounds like a fun read.
also there's a slim chance that it was not recorded at the studio means it was, however, recorded at home. hard to say.

Nah the story was Billy killed it very early on or something. The band had worked it up in rehearsal, played it live then Billy killed it. I can't remember every little detail but it was pretty definitive that there was no other version of the song that was ever recorded.
When he says "replaced" we all assume demo for a demo. He could just as easily mean I was going to record a song called Towers Of Rabble but I hated it so I just used a demo of another song at the last minute.

Spinning it now cause of this thread.
Definitely not a bad comp at all. Lucky 13, Aeroplane, Believe, Here's To The Atom Bomb, Sparrow, Soot + Stars are all great tunes. Not much we couldn't have got elsewhere, but still a nice tracklist and a fun listen. Lucky 13 is the epitome of Jimmy being a total badass.
