paranoid 09-23-2010, 04:30 PM says he respects everything billy has ever written.
Fan-turned-Smashing Pumpkins drummer now calls road his home (http://www.beavertonvalleytimes.com/news/story.php?story_id=128526364280600500)
Ihaguitar 09-23-2010, 04:44 PM I'm sure we'd all have loved to have that happen to us at 20 years old.
CrabbMan 09-23-2010, 04:52 PM I wonder if he's read Blinking with Fists.

Entertainment Weekly gave the effort a "D," calling the poems "both pretentious and confoundingly esoteric."
Does this fucker do everything "boring"?
samuel redman 09-23-2010, 08:02 PM sounds like a young corgan sucking up to corgan
CrabbMan 09-23-2010, 10:28 PM eh, i don't think mike will go down the same path. he's had too much success. at this age, billy was obsessively working his ass off to prove to the world that he was a worthwhile human being through rock. i think mike already knows he's a worthwhile human being.

No...

Yeah. I think Mike probably came from a comfortable, stable, middle class (possibly relatively privileged) upbringing and is that thoroughly generation Y type kid that had his parents (and everyone else) work hard to bolster his self esteem, give him all the possibilities in the world, etc. His sense of unbridled wander and positivity sounds like an interview from a red shirt on the college team.
iPumpkin 09-24-2010, 12:13 PM Cool kid. I like that he is so mellow & humble about his situation.
killtrocity 09-24-2010, 11:39 PM don't give a shit what that little pecker head has to say
nofix 09-25-2010, 01:35 PM might have cared if he wasn't just a shitty sit in.

You don't have to read it if you are not interested sir.
RockLobster 09-25-2010, 05:11 PM if he really respected the smashing pumpkins, he would quit the band and tell billy to bring back jimmy.
RenewRevive 09-26-2010, 07:23 AM i have nothing against him. it is not his fault jimmy isn't in the band anymore. hopefully his playing will improve.
bardy 09-26-2010, 11:44 AM if I saw this kid in person I might punch him in the face
soniclovenoize 09-26-2010, 07:19 PM Out of curiousity, did you guys hate Matt Walker too?

wHATcOLOR 09-26-2010, 08:34 PM matt walker was rad. he wasn't jim but no reason to hate him
Eulogy 09-26-2010, 08:53 PM i don't even hate kenny aronoff. the percussion on the adore tour was all kinds of awesome.
FlspnutIsCool 09-26-2010, 09:33 PM If I saw your mother I'd ejaculate all over her face.

bardy 09-26-2010, 10:00 PM that song on that tour was the destruction of whatever was left of his vocal chords.
but it was worth it

I had nothing personally against Matt Walker, except knowing that he wasn't Jimmy. I was definitely looking for him to fuck up the playing of songs but it never really materialized and I came to accept, grudgingly, that he was quite passable as a replacement for him.

Nah, that would have to be the Machina tour. There was some insane screaming on that one (eg., during Once in a Lifetime...he even went cookie monster on the vocals briefly.)
