So, are tickets sold out? Has there even been a ticket sale yet? Can I not operate the internets? What the fuck.

Tickets procured. Anyone else going to this show? My girlfriend is a longtime fan and never got to see the original band... boy is she in for a shock.

I'm thinking about going, if the tickets are on sale. A friend of mine says that they're probablying going to play at the Orange Peel on the 28th of July, so that'd be a lot closer to me. I'm sort of waiting until I hear for sure about the Peel before I decide on Charlotte

A show at the Orangepeel is very doubtful for the 28th seeing as they already have a show scheduled for that night. It would be much closer for me too, but I have already purchased my tickets for Charlotte.

God help me I went in really skeptical but the band didn't sound half bad. The show dragged at points and some of the reworkings are a little weak but overall it was highly listenable. I will say, the new songs sound much better live. I've only been able to slog through what of Teargarden is out there a few times but was impressed with Song For a Son and the new song as performed with a 4 piece.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the fucker actually enunciated properly... none of this OO-day is the greatest bullshit.

Yeah, not a bad show at all. The newer songs and the classic ones were the highlights for me. I thought Eye, Stand Inside Your Love and the Zeitgeist-era songs were the weak links in my book. Overall, it was enjoyable.

I actually liked the new arrangement of Eye

The Smashing Pumpkins Concert Setlist at The Fillmore, Charlotte on July 16, 2010 | setlist.fm (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-smashing-pumpkins/2010/the-fillmore-charlotte-nc-1bd46984.html)

That looks about right. I was bummed that I Am One was left off the set.
