i prefer barbeque. only in certain kinds though. the normal lays variety is quite mediocre, but the lays kettle cooked mequite bbq is heavenly. jimmy johns also has a wicked bbq flavor.

i have also recently taken to liking salt & vinegar after many years of ambivalence. they are good for the munchies.

BBQ Fritos. I don't have them very often because stores seem to only carry original or chili, but when I do it is heavenly.

salt and vinegar, or preferably sea salt and balsamic vinegar

pickled onion can be great too depending on brand

roast beef and mustard by brannigans are also dynamite

I'm stuck in England, so have to eat Walker's and their strange flavours. I liked the cajun squirrel one.

BTW, where does one get a bag of cheetos here? I only find wotsits and they are not doing it for me :banging::cry:

PS: Didn't see any "introduce yourself" threads, so here i am, first post in a crisp thread :P

malt vinegar, bro.

being in london made me NEED malt vinegar on my fries. but very, very few places have it around. Five Guys and Penn Station Subs are the only chains I've found it.

It's not very common but it is the most superior way to consume fries.

malt vinegar, bro.

you're going to try and tell a scottish guy about malt vinegar?!?!?

its the only vinegar when it comes to chips, but only chippy chips ie fish and chips chips

i wouldnt use it on american style fries

its rare to find a good crisp flavour that uses malt vinegar flavouring though, balsamic is where its at

BRO!

I really enjoy salt and vinegar chips, but some brands go way too heavy on the seasoning.
