according to the bandwith test I just ran, I'm getting 20627 kbps down and 1897 up

what matters is not only how fast you guys are, but how much are you paying.

I'm getting pretty consistently around 5000kbps these days. Are you sure there isn't something wrong?

when i upload i just leave the pc so im not sure about that

those speedtest sites are bullshit in my experience

who's yer provider? we were with Telecom, but those bastards provide the slowest internet in this realm. So we switched to Vodafone, which is alot better.

Telecom here. It got a lot quicker when we got an ADSL2+ compliant router last year. Also, small towns generally have less people on each exchange. Who knows.
