have any of you guys ever executed a pet for punishment for a crime/misdeed? if so what was the crime and was it a first offense?

last night i saved a wild rat from a vicious assault by one of our cats in the back yard. then in the car port another one of our cats had cornered a baby squirrel

One of my cats has a habit of pissing and shitting on the carpet when she's mad. We've talked a lot about putting her down, but we've let it go on so long at this point it seems a waste to kill her. She's looking at me right now, I think she can read my thoughts. My carpet's going to get it tonight

why should pets not be held acountable for there crimes?
