my cd's got stolen, so i'm downloading machina 2 from pumpkins.net, only the sound quality is not exactly great. i'm wondering where i can download the best possible quality version of machinaII. any help would be appreciated.

From what I have heard Q101's transfer is the best.

But if you downloaded when it first leaked, from Eric Agnew's faster/higher pitched rip, then you should download that. I gather that the nostalgia hit is better than sex.

those are the 5 versions that are floating around.
best quality would be the FLAC files.
each version has different attributes
Agnew is a little fast, higher pitched, more aggresive, and probably the first version you heard (if you were onto the leak within the first month of the release (my favorite for nostalgic reasons... to me all music is about nostalgia and moments surrounding the music)
SPIFC is rough around the edges, but the correct speed
q101 is liked by many because it's the cleanest possible, transfered on the highest quality gear
virgin is the version that got shared by the band officially on their website
13 is a remaster of the q101 version, eq, volume maximied... (hated because he's just some dude that remasters other peoples work, yet loved by those who appreciate loud mp3s on their ipods)
