well i mean i have smoked weed. and i don't have a problem with weed. i just never buy it because for me it's not worth the money. but i have quite a few pothead friends so i get to do it for free fairly often. but i haven't in a couple months and probably won't for a while. i just don't really enjoy it that much. i'd rather get drunk.

As a hardened social conservative I'm against all drugs both illegal and legal as well as alcohol. I have never tried drugs nor will I ever try drugs and they do not interest me in the slightest

However due to my beliefs and understanding of economics and society etc. I'd legalize all of them - Including heroin, cocaine, amphetamines and so on

All Duovamp is saying (I think) is that freedom for freedom's sake is not a good thing to aspire to. There is a bigger picture than just guaranteeing everyone as much freedom as possible, just because freedom is "good".

I think that is what he is saying.

and i agree with duo there. It's the same problem: One size fits all thinking.

He's making the same mistake as the people who promote absolute freedom with his BAN THE BOOZE campaign.

am i the only one who thinks there has to be something between anarchism and authoritatian absolutism, and that changes in either direction need to be discussed individually
