Thanks for the forecast HTH! Hate the Hater 11-19-2008, 01:57 AM Did you get your heat fixed duovamp? duovamp 11-19-2008, 01:59 AM My heat works, but in my place in Pittsburgh it's just kind of shitty. So like I'm kiiiind of cold right now, but not freezing my ass off. Of course at my home the heat works just fine. That Thanksgiving break can't come soon enough. Oh, note to self, make celebratory Thanksgiving break thread on Friday... Hate the Hater 11-19-2008, 02:10 AM $20 well spent http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41KzXR07UpL._SS500_.jpg Starla 11-19-2008, 03:04 AM hey do those really work? I'm asking b/c I'm trying to get safe space heaters to donate back home. Starla 11-19-2008, 03:05 AM n/m, you're living in your car! ChristHimself! 11-19-2008, 03:05 AM no, they are completely devoid of function Hate the Hater 11-19-2008, 03:13 AM hey do those really work? I'm asking b/c I'm trying to get safe space heaters to donate back home. Yeah the one I have is awesome. It puts out an unbelievable amount of heat. It has ceramic elements in it...seems to put out better heat than my other wire element one. What do you mean by "safe"? Starla 11-19-2008, 03:45 AM safe = it shuts off automatically if it tips over. Sarcastic Smile 11-19-2008, 04:14 AM yeah they have ones that do that (shut off if tip over) but they jack up your electrical bill like crazy obviously Tchocky 11-19-2008, 10:35 AM My heater busted on Christmas Eve last year. It sucked. :( duovamp 11-19-2008, 10:59 AM "Merry Christmas, motherfucker, I'm gonna stop working!" Skradgee 11-19-2008, 11:46 AM don't turn 'em on 'High' unless you have a solid electrical system in your place. 'Med' is as high as I can go without tripping a circuit breaker. Banana 11-19-2008, 01:41 PM I'll say the same thing I just said to you in the reply. I'm not really sure if it's fixed or not. It comes and goes as it pleases, some days it seems to be working, other days it's cold as fuck in here. RockLobster 11-19-2008, 01:44 PM put on a sweater. JokeyLoki 11-19-2008, 01:47 PM I'll say the same thing I just said to you in the reply. I'm not really sure if it's fixed or not. It comes and goes as it pleases, some days it seems to be working, other days it's cold as fuck in here. So in other words, it's not working Banana 11-19-2008, 03:08 PM It seemed to be working yesturday. Today I'm not sure because it's not as cold as it is outside inside, but it's still probably in the 50's inside my apartment. Kahlo 11-19-2008, 03:29 PM Monte hasn't posted in a while. It looks like you drove him off HtH. I salute you sir. Mo 11-19-2008, 03:51 PM Aw :( Elvis The Fat Years 11-19-2008, 03:54 PM thank god warsaw was the only person on the board to shit on monte and get him to stop posting for a while. Kahlo 11-19-2008, 03:56 PM thank god warsaw was the only person on the board to shit on monte and get him to stop posting for a while. I'm trying to remember the last time you posted something that didn't sound jaded Nimrod's Son 11-19-2008, 04:08 PM hey do those really work? I'm asking b/c I'm trying to get safe space heaters to donate back home. They use an inordinate amount of electricity and in older homes/buildings can cause fuses to blow. ravenguy2000 11-19-2008, 04:47 PM my sister once had a roomie who, instead of turning up the heat, bought a space heater and their electricity bill tripled Caine Walker 11-19-2008, 05:07 PM .... i need to be more frugal with my spaceheater use at night then. ugh. Elvis The Fat Years 11-19-2008, 09:02 PM looks like someone owes nimrod a blowjob. |
