My heat works, but in my place in Pittsburgh it's just kind of shitty. So like I'm kiiiind of cold right now, but not freezing my ass off. Of course at my home the heat works just fine. That Thanksgiving break can't come soon enough.

Yeah the one I have is awesome. It puts out an unbelievable amount of heat. It has ceramic elements in it...seems to put out better heat than my other wire element one. What do you mean by "safe"?

safe = it shuts off automatically if it tips over.

yeah they have ones that do that (shut off if tip over) but they jack up your electrical bill like crazy obviously

It seemed to be working yesturday. Today I'm not sure because it's not as cold as it is outside inside, but it's still probably in the 50's inside my apartment.

They use an inordinate amount of electricity and in older homes/buildings can cause fuses to blow.
