I'm sorry. I've since retired/graduated from the fine sport of rowing. I'm living in Las Vegas where they don't row. very sad.

i don't have a security blanket :( Mys sister does, it was literally disintegrating, so she sewed it up into a pillow she's had since she was a baby. it's cute.

my security blanket is still in blanket form. it's got some holes, its more of a greyish color than the original pink but i'm almost 24 and somewhat worried that there is something wrong with me. my blanket is the rock of my life. the most comforting thing in my life. i'd have sex with it if i could. when bits of thread or filling fall off of it, i swallow it to keep it a part of me. weird? yeahhh.

but...you're just gonna poop it out. do you eat your poop then? that's gross.

I have one! I don't sleep with it anymore, but it's in the drawer by my bed. When I'm sick or injured, it comes out.

Unlike nearly everyone else, I've kept my silly username. Hi!

I had a security blanket, which I referred to as "ahby." This was probably due to my parents encouraging me to learn the alphabet at an early age and my inability to properly pronounce "ay." Clearly I wasn't getting enough exposure to Happy Days.

one of my best friends has a blanket. its name is Baba (not sure about the spelling). it doesn't really look like a blanket anymore though.... just a big ball of tangled yarn. she sleeps with it every night, and i'm pretty sure she'd have some sort of anxiety attack if something happened to it.

:erm:

My security blanket was actually a t-shirt named "softie". It was all knotted and frayed. I think it's still around somewhere in the loft of my lakehouse.

Before softie, I think I had a real blanket that I used, but disintegrated by the time I was 6 or so. (Hence the use of softie).

But when I get sick, I do have one particular blanket that I always pull out from the closet and use.

this little guy was my "security blanket". One side of his face is kind of burned because he was left on top of a lamp for too long. I HAD to sleep with him up until 11, 12 years old, and took him almost everywhere with me (even put him in my backpack when i went to school!!). He just sits on top of a drawer in my bedroom at my parents house now. First time ive touched him in years, it feels weird.

please tell me you wash this thing.

It gets handwashed after every round of nasty illness.

It's been in the drawer for a good year now though.
