Apart from Extras Ricky Gervais fails at everything else. Awful stand up comedian.

His "stand-up" is funny, though it's not exactly, well, stand-up. His podcast was basically 15 hours of him and Steve Merchant making fun of Karl Pilkington (?), and yet it was funny.

That was really the only funny thing that's gone on in the last few episodes. I thought last night's was too over the top - they're all too over the top now.

what happened to toby was one of the most depressing things on tv ever. i would have preferred the writers just to kill him off, but im sure this will all lead to a story arc where he comes back to the office and michael will feel bad about the years of abuse. im so over jim/pam, that was the least interesting thing that happened during the episode

i used to not really give a hoot about jim/pam, or even be anti-jim/pam, especially when karen was on the show because she was awesome, but now i like them and want it to work

I've totally lost all interest in this show.

The show was really good. Dwight is back in top form after having become too sympathetic of a character over the last three seasons. I thought that was hilarious when he was spraying the leftovers with Raid... and then doing Angela in the warehouse "we did good in there"
