Have only gave the first couple of songs a solid listen so far. Sounds different than their past stuff but still sounds like TVOTR. I like what I hear so far, it's different but it's good.

haven't heard yet, but I'm expecting good things. i still haven't given cookie mountain a proper listen either...

they were excellent live

i was really surprised by how much i liked return to cookie mountain when i finally listened to it. i might have to check this out.

It's not epic or moody like Cookie Mountain, but it shouldn't be in the first place..

I'm liking what I've heard so far of "Dear Science", they continue to surprise and titillate.

Only gripe I have with the album is that the 6th track, Family Tree, sounds like it could have come from the latest Coldplay album.

i remember thinking something to that effect as well.

this album has not one redeeming quality. tv on the radio have always been overrated. sure they can create a cool atmosphere, but minus 2 or 3 songs their song writing is appalling. the only thing that keeps me coming back is that those 2 or 3 songs are brilliant. sadly dear science fails on every attempt. (except for the attempt at sounding like prince of course)

i like it, it isnt better than cookie or young liars but its enjoyable. ill take pedestrian tvotr over alot of stuff my faves are halfway home and dlz
