Thanks for putting this DVD together. I was at the 10-22 show, so this is just as well. Is this available for download elsewhere as zomb took it down because of commercial stuff. Looking forward to it.

is this the one from Finnish tv that was broadcast in twice the bitrate and widescreen?
the finnish one seems to be up here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=214886
how come it's only 2.76 gb, while the one from french tv is 7.52 gb?
one would think the french one is twice the bitrate, no?

The Finnish one is a digital DVB MPEG2 stream authored to dvd without re-encoding, the new French version is done with a standalone dvd recorder, so the original signal is re-encoded.

and the original signal of the finnish dvb one is better quality than the original signal french dtv one? twice as good? (does this mean the re-encoding increased the size of the dvd to 400%?)

I don't know what the source signal for this French version is like, but at least the Finnish dvb signal is better than the original previously seeded French version (which was also a DVB capture, about 1,7 Gb and 4:3 letterbox picture) Not quite twice the bitrate like I originally mentioned, but definitely better.
In this case the signal has been fed to a standalone dvd recorder (via unknown connection, could be analog cables) and then encoded to HQ setting, obviously the file size gets a lot bigger, but it's not the original signal anymore.
It's like you take an mp3 file, play it back and record to wav via line-in using another device. Obviously you have a larger file, but the signal is not any better than the original.

I keep getting a CSS encryption error when I go to burn the TS files. Is there anyway around this?
