Just when it was getting entertaining.

Olbermann is on Sunday Night Football on NBC now.

MSNBC is a joke of a station.

Olbermann is doing football now? What the hell?

That's too bad, I could still stomach Mathews.

Mo
09-07-2008, 10:01 PM
Matthews is that Dateline guy, right?

I don't know, personally I really liked Olbermann's tirades against O'Reilly (for example). Can't imagine him railing about referees and such.

Nah, the one I was thinking of was a bit longer than that, and a bit more hostile...

Can't find it, maybe it wasn't Matthews.

I know what part you mean - the footage was shown on either The Daily Show or Colbert Report. More people, more emotions, more cuss words.

Oh great, David Gregory. He leans McCain.

Hey NBC, stop sucking up to retarded conservatives who will always watch Fox News anyway, and replace these guys with people who represent your viewer base a little better.

David Gregory sucks.

Future Boy

That was as much as Mathews and Olbermann got into it. There were only 2 other incidents. One with Joe Scarborough and Olbermann, and Scarborough and David Shuster.

i would say so. at least there's some semblance of a grid system. and you get a little stick with a red tip on it that allows you to take advantage of the goodwill of your fellow city dwellers. nothing in the jungle gives a shit about your red tipped stick.

Yeah but he's retarded, it's not so much the blindness. He might fare better, but he's not going to function better.

duovamp
09-08-2008, 02:22 AM
Let's be honest-- it wasn't a question.

It has a question mark, doesn't it? Though your refusal to answer it is only working to justify the point behind it. When you're presented with evidence you don't like you turn your back to it, refusing to accept it because it would shatter the world you created to comfort yourself.

commando
09-08-2008, 02:26 AM
A question mark does not make a question. My refusal to answer your "question" only means I can see a loaded question when it's presented to me. Do you really want to get into whether or not there's a God in the Keith Olberman thread? Oh-- and from an outsider's perspective, please tell me how self-imposed sobriety and celibacy is a comfort I don't want shattered?

duovamp
09-08-2008, 02:28 AM
Again, the reasons behind your self-imprisonment are what comfort you, that there's a Big Man in the clouds who loves you and will take care of you when you die. So here we are.

Well that's your perspective and that's rather jaded. Some of the spiritual experiences I've had will not be explained away so easily as to attribute my devotion to my belief system to some sort of comfort crutch because I'm scared to die.

the reason i'm particularly interested is because i heard another on of those shitty "spiritual experience" stories today. this woman was telling me that during a particularly troubling time in her life, was bicycling to the store, contemplating whether she actually believed in god. she stopped at a light and saw a graffito on the wall of a building that simply read her first name, and this was god's message to her that he had been there with her every single moment moment of her life until that point.

are your stories more or less convincing than that one.
