when we had my father's wake there were tons of people who knew him through his work at school showing up left and right. people who didn't care to speak to him during his life, just knew he died. it would have been impossible for me to muster the energy to do it but in my head i was screaming in each of their faces THIS ISN'T A FUCKING MIXER. almost like sunday mass and the girls are checking out what the others are wearing and throwing sluteyes to the alter boys while the nuns are singing hallellies to jesus.

when i was in high school, i was talking to my latin teacher and he said that when he was in high school he and some friends would skip school and get dressed up and go to random funerals. he was a weird guy.

My co-worker just died recently, wasn't sure if i should have gone or not, The only thing i said to him was a compliment of his salad and he looked proud after.. Regaurdless, I was traveling to Davenport this day
