do you guys think that for animals with different life spans than our own

like their perception of time compensates? like what if the lifespan of a gnat that only lives a few days is really just experienced the same as our own by the gnat, just stretched out over a few days

or like what if a dog experiences its 10 years or so just as we experience 80 and the reality of their existance is just times

I would say that most animals dont have a perception of time. And then id go ahead and say that for those that do it depends on how much time they spend reflecting upon the passage of time.

i was buying some at the story and i started to think of all the different things i could potentially do with just a few slices of bread. it's pretty remarkable

This is definitely what happens, thus why time isn't real and it's just a human concept. You think about the universe and everything, and a humans life is such a fast instant blip of nothing when it comes to time.
