I turned 20 recently - should I be worried? Besides the occasional hair in my "beard" this has never happened to me before. :/

Thank dog that's something else entirely.
My uncle (paternal; luckily I got the hair from my mom's side...) lost all his hair before he was 20. He blamed it on Army helmets, but I think it was mostly genetics.

It shouldn't be a problem, not like you're gonna go completely gray (or white) in the next five years. I first noticed a couple gray hairs on my head when I was about 14 years old, and over the years it's become more noticeable (I'm 25 now). It depends on the length of my hair just how noticeable it is, when I shave it short it's unnoticeable, but when I let it grow out for 3-4 weeks, than it's easy to spot. A few times recently I've actually used Hair Club for Men after I get a haircut, which definitely worked, but it can be messy and a pain in the ass.

even relatively few grey hairs are noticeable with darker-haired people. i only really see them when i grow mine out. friendly advice: don't pluck them out, there will come a time when you look on them favourably compared to the awful alternative :erm:

I have a couple. I don't think stress does it, but I know having a heart murmur does.

i keep looking down on the street and seeing prostitutes, it's pretty cool. except i think a good amount of them are really men dressed up like women

That's nice, Jerome, but it doesn't help me at all. I mean, I wouldn't mind the occasional white hair - but 30?
I'm shocked.

As a kid I knew a boy who'd lost all his hair the moment his parents told him they were getting a divorce. Pretty hardcore.

my grandpa ate a fistfull of coffee beans every day for a month when he was in his 30s so that he would develop a heart murmur and would be exempt from fighting in the war when the germans took Italy.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck there have been one or two occasions where i thought i was experiencing heart murmur... a kid in my high school class died of this, during a basketball game in front of everyone

i've only ever found one white hair, and my hairline is pretty well intact.

my brother, who is a year younger than me, developed some wicked widow's peaks and just shaved his entire melon. not sure about any white hairs, tho.
