This morning I pulled that shit out of my mouth and stuck it on the end piece thing of my bed. Later on I realized I hadn't put it away in its case in the bathroom so I went back for it and the top piece was missing. I just tore apart my entire fucking room looking for it and it has absolutely dropped off the face of the Earth. And I don't have enough money to get it replaced. Fuck.

None of you guys have ever had serious orthodontic work done? I'm supposed to wear it once a week until my teeth finally stop moving, which might not be until I get into my 20s. Personally I don't want my teeth to revert to their pre-6000-dollars-worth-of-orthodontic-work state.

fuck those things, they hurt your mouth and get stinky and you can't eat with them (despite what the dentist says) and get lost

I still post pretty sporadically, about once every two weeks or something like that. Of course, I'm one of the clever people who made a new thread when I first noticed that "Hello smiling politely it appears you have not posted in a few weeks whynottakeamomenttoaskaquestionblahblahblah" message, so at least my infrequent contributions to the board are meaningful and worthwhile.

Your shit must've been pretty busted to require 6k going into it.

My teeth really weren't that bad, I'm pretty sure they were just milking my parents out of their cash. Insurance paid for most of it I guess, but it was a pretty pricey place. The only other place around us that was supported by our shitty health insurance was this ancient dude in a decrypt little office like a torture chamber... I don't think it had been redecorated since the mid 1960s. He told us he was very old school and believed strongly in head gear:erm:

Also, I still haven't found it.

yeah man. I just don't know. I suspect that maybe the dog hid it somewhere, but I looked in all his usual spots.
