I'm terribly bored and laughing at my last phone bill. If I didn't have a texting plan, I would have spent almost $450 on messages alone. Who else can't live without their phone?
or link me to awesome websites, videos, blah blah blah etc to entertain me.

i find this incredibly obnoxious. Why do you need to text every 5 minutes? ridiculous and annoying.

it's usually not that bad, hence why I'm laughing. I have a lot of friends that get bored and text shit like "hey". my roommate often texts me while she's at work all day, so some days I'll be texting quite a bit. other than my handful of friends who enjoy text conversations, I find texting highly convenient. especially when I have something specific to say or when giving directions. so much easier and faster.

edit: also I usually don't use more than 300 of my plan minutes, so that's a bit odd too. I'm chalking it up to moving, birthday, school projects, and legal bs all at the same time for why I was on the phone so much last billing period.

it's been years since I checked up on billing prices, but I know there used to be different prices for sent and received texts. just today while checking my bill online, I noticed a little bulletin about messaging charges that said messages would be 20cents a message effective august 29,2008. *shrug* who knows..

If you don't have a text plan you generally have to pay a la carte for each text received and sent.

I have 1,000 anytime minutes, unlimited text, and internet for a t-mobile sidekick slide, all for like $80.

But I'm really tired of cell phones in general and, when I move, I'm just getting a home phone and saying goodbye to cell phones.
