YES! we're going there later in the semester after we learn how to build cables and solder. I don't know if we're building one as a class or what, but they look so fucking fun.
I was actually talking about you with Tim today. He was going on and on about how shitty the studio was at first and that we're lucky. They've recently put in this huge LD widescreen tv for classes to be able to see whats going on while learning protools etc.. Also, new this semester there's a macbook and inbox solely to be used for pro tools off campus recording that we can check out. that's pretty bad ass.. slowly the program keep getting better and better.
I'm pretty fucking excited about audio this semester.

Actually, generally everything fits inside the screen. At most, I'm only missing side ads. Anyway, of all the priorities I have in life, screen resolution is wayyyyyy down between nothing and less than nothing. It's still a couple of hundred lines, that's good enough. Besides, I've had bad eyes since I was a kid and I like it big and easier to read.

yes. 720/1080p movies wouldn't output through hdmi very well with vista, so i formatted and went back to xp the very day i bought my laptop.

oh yeah, i forgot about the default ugly blue xp bars and stuff. i've always turned those off because they are hideous.
