Again, I cant watch the video, but from what I know of kite surfing, you're pretty much attached by some little spinning thingee. I'm sure it has a release though...

also the way you can hear him yelling "whoOoaAa!!1" as he gets blown over away is totally hilarious

I was looking into Kite surfing a while ago.
I forgot what they call that part specifically (a spindle or something?) but some dude wanted to trade it for my accoustic steel string.
