This is brilliant.

I've been playing around with the idea of going to law school for awhile now.

My alma mater is opening the only public law school within 200-300 miles in my city in the fall of 2010. This is excellent.

Gives me time to truly make up my mind, take the LSATS, and apply. (Also, to get tuition money together. $7000 instead of $20-30,000)

Not all lawyers are souless creatures. Just most of them.

I never said I'd be a slimy defense attorney or anything.

I've never seen this show.

I'm told it's funny, though.

what are "shitty, greasy tactics?"

i mean isn't our justice system dependent on everyone getting a fair trial?

I more mean attorneys that will suck their defendants dry. Ambulance chasers, bottom feeders etc. Those are shitty, greasy tactics. Those are the soul-sucking kinds of attorneys. The typical "slimeball" stereotype lawyer you can think of that does tv commercials about getting you $3 million for your car crash.

well that doesn't have anything at all to do with defending guilty criminals.
