what's it about then?

We had an explosion of Xenophobic attacks here a few weeks back. Things settled pretty quickly, but it was quite intense while they were going on.
A lot of foreigners were attacked, killed, by mobs of people... Police were called out, had the army on standby (I dont think they were deployed).

Hectic.

And Ol' Couch Ass, incidently, we did do a show with the 'love thy neighbour' theme during the attacks. It wasn't all metal though.

By Foreigners I dont mea tourists or anything, I mean folk from Zimbabwe, Mozambique etc...
It was all 'black on black' violence.

oh. is it a 'dey took our jerbs!' kind of thing? or is it just because they're inferior africans?

Apparently a few things:
They blame a lot of the crime on foreigners too... Drugs and say that they 'rape their sisters' and such....
But definitately jobs too, I'm sure.


It was basically a group of folk intent on causing shit and rousing things up, not the attitude of everyone.
