Does yours ever firm up? because mine never seems to. I make it, I knead it, I use it... but even if the cake sits out over night, the fondant is still really soft (which can suck if it's on an odd shape). Maybe I knead mine too much. Ugh.

Well if you liked the show, you'll probably enjoy it to some degree or another. It had a few moments. I was happy to at least see the characters again. My only expectation was for it to be good for a thrill or two, like watching one of the stand-alones of the TV show. I don't know...I guess I expected the main 'case' to be something other than what it was. The writing and the dynamics between Mulder and Scully were weak to me. Pretty forgettable film in the end.

i've just booked for amsterdam with my brother after a few weeks of him being very indecisive

that means 18th-23rd august ill be back in glasgow with daily visits to edinburgh for the festival (im going to see back to the future: the pantomime, a few plays, possibly jimmy carr and henry rollins and some random standup) and then 23rd-27th in amsterdam. woot.

I'm in a good mood right now. Already went for my run, showered, and had a nice breakfast. In about twenty minutes I am going to attempt to get Bob Dylan tickets. I haven't seen him in four years and he's playing a small, GA-only venue in Philly. If my luck is what is usually is, I'll try for an hour to get tickets and fail miserably putting me into a shitty mood for the rest of the day.

He's coming in like two weeks! At least I won't have that much time to get hyped up before being sorely disappointed. Here's to hoping though.
