noyen 07-16-2008, 10:42 AM i have now. cool technology and the water on glass effect is rad.
Caine Walker 07-16-2008, 10:45 AM it reminded me of max headroom.
Piggy 07-16-2008, 10:53 AM I think I liked the way the power lines looked out of everything
Rockin' Cherub 07-16-2008, 11:34 AM one of coldplay's better videos
SirenWren 07-16-2008, 12:37 PM making of video:

Shapan 07-16-2008, 03:08 PM this is my least favorite song off in rainbows, but i dig this video
ChaosEffect 07-16-2008, 04:59 PM Its also my least favorite but the video was meh until half way through then it picks up.
fluxequalsrad 07-16-2008, 05:50 PM this is my least favorite song off in rainbows, but i dig this video
What about 'The Reckoner"? Aka 'The Ass Reckoner'.
ChaosEffect 07-16-2008, 06:33 PM There is no "The" but it is "The" best song on the album.
redbull 07-16-2008, 06:34 PM if you ignore the 2001 version of reckoner the new version doesn't suck
Mablak 07-16-2008, 07:06 PM Visually impressive video, not much apparent substance though
smashingjj 07-16-2008, 09:05 PM What about 'The Reckoner"? Aka 'The Ass Reckoner'.
one of the better songs on that album
Shapan 07-16-2008, 10:10 PM i love reckoner, the drums are awesome. the vocals in that little interlude when they sing in rainbows is pretty incredible. they shouldve made house of cards a lot shorter, there isnt enough going on in that song. there are some cool effects but nothing to justify it being over 5 minutes long.
and the old reckoner wasnt bad. reminded me a little of i might be wrong.
Thaniel Buckner 07-16-2008, 10:52 PM saw this a day or two ago. reminds me of the pyramid song video in its digital quirkiness.
serves its purpose pretty well as a music video too.
p.s. radiohead
Banana 07-16-2008, 11:28 PM Is this the first video for a song off of In Rainbows?
Shapan 07-17-2008, 12:22 AM no, the other two singles, nude and jigsaw, both have videos.
you can find them on youtube im sure
Marqués 07-17-2008, 01:39 AM man, Reckoner is my favorite song from In Rainbows
are the older versions really better?
any recommended youtube videos of those versions?
i wish I could see a highrez version of this video
the matrix patterns from the compression is annoying.

Marqués 07-17-2008, 03:41 AM Yeah that's pretty good
maybe if they'd played with both versions to create a bit more
dynamics within the song by using both versions, it'd be a super version
SirenWren 07-19-2008, 09:01 PM Thom Yorke posted a higher quality version on deadairspace.
http://www.radiohead.com/deadairspace/
Axl Rose 07-20-2008, 09:40 PM No, but I'm going to see Radiohead at Lollapalooza, know what I'm sayin?!
fluxequalsrad 07-21-2008, 12:09 AM Reckoner sounds like the grandpa pedophile from Family Guy is singing. Terrible melody, terrible song.
Shallowed 07-21-2008, 12:12 AM this is my least favorite song off in rainbows, but i dig this video

And I thought that my opinion was the only one that was right.
Quiet CD 07-21-2008, 07:04 PM Aaron Koblin was the director of technology on this video, he's done a great deal of other awesome work with data visualization ( www.aaronkoblin.com ).
brightwindows 07-21-2008, 09:50 PM Looks nice.
