[err..since i'm stupid about hum..i'll put sth here no one here prolly knows] chronic future [96]. this was (is?) a band from scottsdale [greater phoenix az]. they recorded this album when they were like in jr. high, i'm not sure of their exact age. it's a hilarious, great album. kids trying to be ratm and nirvana and bitching about D.A.R.E. and cops hassling them about skateboarding and rich kids dressing like gang members, etc. i'm sure they sucked once they 'grew up'..i'll have to see if i can find any of their other stuff sometime.

i've always really liked that first DOTN album. and Liam Lynch's more serious stuff is actually really good if you've never heard it. his "funny" stuff is lame though.

Mooney 07-25-2009, 04:44 PM speaking of debuts, i had a huge brain fart today. i was buying my first vinyl, and i was sorting through a bin of complete garbage hoping to find some cure under 'c'. i finally find 4:13 dream, and i guess i was thinking of 10:15 Saturday night or something, but i mistook this album for three imaginary boys and bought it. oops. oh well, i don't hate it or anything.. there just are about sixteen or so cure albums i would have rather have bought instead. :)

i love zeppelin, they've always been one of my favorite bands, and if anyone mentions any of these songs then of course i think of zeppelin first. i also love zeppelin i. but im not gonna deny the fact that there was a lot of material that was borrowed on that first album and reworked.
