This film and that song in particular are what got me into Talking Heads. I think I played it like four or five times the first time I saw it because it was so awesome.

that song was great. There music is so stiff... such a difference from the fluidity of say a pumpkins song.

their demos from 75 are fantastic too, but i love all their stuff. their debut single "love -> building on fire/i wish you wouldn't say that" is not to be missed neither. yo.

once i found that out i went and listened to (Nothing But) Flowers again the guitar playing is so obviously Johnny Marr's style that i couldn't believe i hadn't noticed it before.
