There's a real good TV doco I saw called Electric Miles which is about that album. About a third of it is footage of Miles and the band playing Spanish Fly at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970 or something.

It's almost like Corea is in a trance. Killer performance.

yep there are definitely elitists, i however don't listen to jazz cause i don't like it. or at least, i don't like it today. then again i haven't heard much really. what i have heard usually sounds like a buncha notes. i'll probably dl a few records cause of this thread
