Kahlo 07-07-2008, 07:37 AM because they have more pop sounding single material. Why is that so hard to understand? Thaniel Buckner 07-07-2008, 07:39 AM well, just about any band that had a music video in the eighties for starters. but i can't really of think of anything else though. I like the big singles for the most part. Deadeyes 07-07-2008, 12:03 PM I don't get why The Cure are SO huge. I think they are a good band and deserve recognition, but the problem is that many great bands seem to have fallen on the wayside under some of these giants (Smiths are pretty big to). I would put forward Nirvana to, they are simply fucking huge. It's all in the hooks I guess, plus the age appeal, the younger youth circuits they can get into the better in the long run. I guess analysing this question you could put forth all the asinine pop shit that gets mass appeal, all that rap rnb stuff flooding the music industry for the last few years. Once it's indicative of culture the music becomes a flagstone for people to form to. ??? 07-07-2008, 12:06 PM smashing pumpkins Deadeyes 07-07-2008, 12:07 PM Zwan spring 07-07-2008, 12:27 PM Just don't put "Friday I'm in Love" on it or I will hit you. :noway: i thought you'd give me more credit than that Caine Walker 07-07-2008, 12:27 PM lincoln park my chemical romance phish green day i'm seconding guns n' roses yoshinobu's revenge 07-07-2008, 12:37 PM the smiths the doors the rolling stones bob dylan led zep sonic youth velvet underground pale blue eyes 07-07-2008, 12:41 PM :noway: i thought you'd give me more credit than that I do; just consider it a preemptive warning. neopryn 07-07-2008, 12:44 PM i guess sonic youth. i obnly have daydream and dirty though, i haven't really made an effort. the cure and the smitshs are cool GlasgowKiss 07-07-2008, 12:51 PM I dont get not getting Metallica.
