it's the same feller who took all them pictures for both. wrote most all them songs too.

I thought it said in the booklet that Billy did the photography. But the pictures are the same on that website as in the booklet.

So maybe... Billy took the pictures, this guy did all the cool effects? I don't understand. Billy probably lied and had nothing to do with the photography.

But maybe this Matt fellow specializes in altering photographs as opposed to taking them? I dunno much about the man.

basically it's just two washed out photos of things that normally have very bright and saturated colors. the regular american gothic cover just looks dumb. the music contained was not nearly as scary and not nearly as dark as that artwork.
