also, it's barely july yet. mogwai's album comes out in septemeber and there are a couple of other things to really look forward to. pa-tience.

Yeah I like the new Sigur Ros. Some real good stuff on there. I also throughly enjoyed how Portishead evolved/changed styles a bit with Third.

I think a lot of great music has come out this year but 2007 was out of control as far as good music goes.

Seriously it's almost hard to name bands that are not putting out albums this year. I've been telling people that there is a good chance this will be one of those legendary years for music. If you can't find something in this to be excited about you need to give up on music. Even The Music Tapes are finally putting out a new album.

The new Elbow was really good.

The new Lindstrøm is amazing. I listened to it yesterday and it's one of the best things I've heard all year. Easily top 5 album for me, probably top 3.
