no i am just frustrated by seeing people who are good honest fans like skipgo, go the way of a wasteful posters in the SP board. making parody threads / chat threads that don't belong here.

i'm not going to defend myself in post after post here, in the scheme of things, this is such an unimportant issue. i made a silly thread because i was bored, so what? if the mods want to delete or lock it, i'm sure they will. i expected it when i made the thread in the first place. And in the three years i've been here, i've probably made like, two threads like this. There are really better things in the world to get all worked up over.

yes, i am a genuine fan (who admittedly sometimes takes cheap shots and corgan as cigarski said), and when some real and interesting discussion is going on about the band, i'm happy to take part in an intelligent manner. But there's not a lot going on to talk about, so i don't see the harm in joking around while we wait for something. Cigarski is right, you just have zero sense of humor, at all times. I'm happy to go back and forth between serious and silly, as are a lot of posters here. I've never once seen you do so. Which is weird, coming from a guy who's famous for wearing a gorilla suit on a date...

that said, if you're just not into lightening up, you always have the option of NOT READING THE THREAD. This isn't a case of me hijacking one of your serious threads so that you have to wade through a bunch of crap to get to the stuff you're interested in. If anything, you're doing that to me now.
