Panopticon and Oceanic are on pretty much identical levels of brilliance, Panopticon is slightly more accesible. Australasia is the only really great Pelican album. Fire In Our Throats is pretty good but.

So Did We, In Fiction, Wills Dissolve, Grinning Mouths... i mean thats more than half the album but it's all great.

Also i'm willing to bet that anybody hating on isis in this thread hasn't seen them live. recently.

So awesome.

Mind upping it?
Big Aereogramme fan but not really listened to Isis much. Didn't think much of them from what I heard, long time ago though.

There you go. It'll say "Loading file info.." and might take a minute but it'll load.

In the fishtank 14 is pretty standard when compared to Aereogramme (seclusion and before). The third track is the standout (If it wasn't for the vocals I think these tracks would be nothing great at all), Im guessing Aereogramme are dominating this mixup but I would have to listen to some more Isis to judge.

Pelican was pretty awesome when i caught them with Thrice @ The Fillmore. I just acquired City of Echoes and need to give it a good listen. I can tell already from a few tracks that most of the tunes they played live were from this release, and i think that of those tracks i heard, they sounded much better live.

As for Isis, I need to give them a go. I did listen to a live set they have on fabchannel.com and thought it was pretty good.

Funny, I think the 3rd track is the weakest of the bunch. To each his own.
