Shapan 06-11-2008, 05:19 AM ive been listening to the kevin drew record more recently and its a lot better then i last remembered, more solid songs on there than i gave it credit for. tbtf, fucked up kid, bodhi sappy weekend, all pretty good as well. there are songs that can be shortened but there are bss songs like that too. those other songs generally have a good hook in there somewhere but its far too little for them. brendan canning's is probably still a bit better but ill have to let it settle. both of them are better than most music ive heard the past couple of years. christian zombie vampires 06-11-2008, 04:09 PM ive been listening to churches under the stairs and love is new every day for a week now. man im in love with this band. bardy 06-12-2008, 10:35 PM tbtf makes me happy fluxequalsrad 06-12-2008, 11:56 PM I'm going to see BSS soon, are they going to be playing crap off both of these solo albums or can I expect a classic BSS set? Shapan 06-13-2008, 07:37 PM should i bother with this if i think the only really good bss album is you forgot it in people yeah give it a shot, its not as good but its entertaining. really very few things are as good as you forgot it in people for me, so i have a pretty high opinion of that record. i think you thought drew's stuff just sounded like b-sides but this might keep your attention more, worth listening to even if you're not instantly in love with it |
