Travis Meeks 06-01-2008, 12:31 AM did you check your pockets? fluxequalsrad 06-01-2008, 12:38 AM dude I know I go out of my way to turn around every thread to address the fact that I just broke up with my g/f, but now I can actually say something. There is no worse hell. My relationship was great! We had been dating a little over two years and knew each other inside and out, but constantly laughed and had a great time, and then she just calls me up (I had to go away to work for the summer) and says she wants to break up. All she said was that "she didn't love me anymore" and then when I asked questions about it she kept being like 'oh you were a great boyfriend blah blah blah' .. Now like what... 2 weeks later? I find out shes already dating some fucking loser douche who only won her over with flattery... guys a total fuckbag and will probably get away with shit I always took flack for. What a bitch. fluxequalsrad 06-01-2008, 12:41 AM makes me sick... I can't stop rooting through her facebook its such a dumb move on my part.. Travis Meeks 06-01-2008, 08:29 AM is that B or whatever? Don't you live with her? D. 06-01-2008, 08:35 AM yes, it was her, and no, i haven't lived with her since like i think march. we stayed in contact up until recently, though. Now I have all summer to get in shape + refine myself .... because the only thing that makes me feel better is me topping her new life with retard-boy by being a much more appealing person. The goal isn't really to get her back... I'm not sure if the goal is very healthy to begin with ...but it sure is cathartic. It's a good excuse to stay on track with the regiment too I guess. This also happened to me... almost. She said that shit. Said she felt "butterflies" when she was around some guy, who turned out to be a good friend. They had some hand holding and stupid shit like that. But then, a couple days later she totally changed her mind and decided she wanted to be with me forever. Girls will throw away massively important relationships for "butterflies", it seems, and that's the cold truth. TheMilstead 06-01-2008, 02:27 PM That sucks, D. Hope you don't fall too deep back into the pattern, or for too long. :( I remember when that happened to me. It got so bad, I had to visit a gastroenterologist who prescribed me some special pills for all the weight loss, vomiting, and other stomach problems every morning. (This was after being cheated on) pale blue eyes 06-01-2008, 04:13 PM Being cheated on fucking sucks. I feel lucky I found out pretty early in the relationship but I can at least empathize a bit. I broke it off immediately (I walked in on them), spent the next solid month questioning everything and feeling like shit. It pretty much ruined men for the next year for me. I threw the book and the key at him and left. fluxequalsrad 06-01-2008, 06:00 PM Yep, on the couch. He had given me one of his spare keys in case he ever locked himself out. I did this and it backfired totally on me. When we broke up she said part of her felt like I expected her to leave. There was more to it though, but it can be a dangerous tactic. Mooney 06-02-2008, 08:18 AM yeah, my ex did the old 'seamless transition', too. then i think he dumped her about a week before she was to go away, so she comes back to me, and now wants me to do the long distance thing with her. 1200kms. ahhhhh. ??? 06-02-2008, 08:18 AM dude I know I go out of my way to turn around every thread to address the fact that I just broke up with my g/f, but now I can actually say something. What a bitch. #1 - chances are it wasn't 'out of the blue' and you just failed to recognize the signs #2 - chances are she broke up with you because of that other dude, and didn't just start dating him "2 weeks later" you're really naive fluxequalsrad 06-02-2008, 01:29 PM #1 - chances are it wasn't 'out of the blue' and you just failed to recognize the signs #2 - chances are she broke up with you because of that other dude, and didn't just start dating him "2 weeks later" you're really naive I obviously notice the signs now. Its hard to see it when you're having a great time together, and I never really questioned the relationship because of that. as for #2, she had a date lined up with a different guy who bailed on her and the guy she is now currently dating just filled his place. So I mean she obviously just wanted to hop on some other guy, whoever it may be - that is what she wanted ...that much is clear.
