I think it's by far the best thing to come out of the Machina sessions. I dont think Corgan has ever written such a touching song as that. His voice has never sounded as pretty and delicate. The guitars are so clean and pristine. When the piano comes in around the middle of the song its just heartbreaking.

I agree. It's better than most of the crap from the Machina era...

Actually I would say Innosence is one of the weakest tracks on Machina II. It is part of a string of lackluster songs to me, starting with Real Love and ending with this. By the time Home is over, I forget it was even on the album.

every time i hear it i keep thinking that it sounds like Iha lyrics to me. the oft-repeated word and simple phrasing. i know no one really seems to agree with me on that, but lyrically it seems much more similar to iha's songs than old man bill's

the Machina sessions. I dont think Corgan has ever written such a touching song as that.

how could you seriously even say this?

You disagree? I think hes written other songs like Cupid and Medellia that come close in beauty but Innosence is just clearly the best.

you're entitled to this insane opinion, but by no means is innosence "clearly the best"

Well what songs would you say are more beautiful than Innosence?

im not going to argue this by saying this song is more beautiful than this one because i could argue even my self on that forever. when i revisit songs like Galapagos, i'd say that, then when i get to twilight to starlight and hear the end of beautiful, i'd say that, then the album ends and im owned by the closer.

but i need to remember this is the nature of your threads. state something as matter of fact or "it clearly is" and see the reaction. its cool you like the song, but as i said initially, you can't be serious.
