I just got one of the famous Captains of Crush grippers, they are stated as the world gold standard of grip training and testing.

I got CoC#1 and am about 1cm from closing them completly. Closing CoC#1 equates to 140lbs grib strength, then theres CoC#2, #3 and #4. Only 5 people have ever closed #4 and been certified on the site. It equates to 365lbs grip strength.

If i can close the #3 one day i'll be a happy man. Should make some of the ninjutsu techniques more interesting.. :smoke:

Its very good quality, looks nice, and presents a real challenge to close. They suggest when you can fully close the gripper and do 10-12 reps like that then its time to move onto the next, which would be #2 for me, but that will be a little while away still!

I had a girlfriend with kung fu grip.

We did a flesh grab technique in training a few weeks back that prompted me to increase my grip, the technique involved grabbing the skin just below the opponents armpits, stepping behind them and slamming them to the floor. When sensei did his grip it was extremely painful and it wasnt even full strength.

It'll help most techniques we train in across all the different traditional schools we study. Its helped my pull ups aswell.

haha must be the #5 which dosnt exist. I think if you master #4 you could probably crush coal into diamonds.
