i'm cranky today

finally i'll be able to work from home tomorrow, thank goodness... it's been a month now since i've been able to and it's really starting to get to me.

i had my review about a month ago and when my boss sent my review down to HR she added a note to it advising them that i work from home two days a week. HR then comes back to tell her what my raise is and they mention that i won't be able to start working from home until June. i had been doing it for about two months before then, but because HR doesn't pay attention to anything other than the mouth flapping that goes on, they didn't realize that i was in a different position than i previously was (and have been for two years). previously i was in a position that wouldn't allow such a thing, but since then, i have worked my way a wee bit up the ladder and was able to do so.

i was also supposed to get a $3.50 raise (per a member of upper management), as i am severely underpaid, but they said "we'll have to look into that later". so, i continue to suck corporate nuts in order to maintain my "under the radar" status, and i am stuck waiting until June to get my sanity back.

i can't deal with the people i work with and i can't deal with the fact that something i have worked very hard to be able to do has been single handedly taken away from me, all because someone has a hard on for being a control freak.

the girl i sit next to has some ass disease and all i hear about is her smelly shits... i can't take it and i hope they all get skull fucked by the demons of hell.

my boyfriend says that i should be more aggressive about this, but i don't think i want to take it too far

I have no idea what corporate codes are floating around these days, but "we'll have to look into that later" sounds like there's nothing you could do about it right now.

the money isn't the issue, i know i have to wait for that, and honestly i don't think it's going to happen anyways

In this case I'd say you should comment on that - if you've already worked from home, and if the work you did was alright [I have no idea what you're actually doing], I don't see why they wouldn't let you again right away. Except they're just assholes.

I think you might have to say something about this, it is infringing on what you want to do. Are they aware how much you would rather work from home? I dont understand why they would revoke that for no reason.

i know he was taking them because he was being a fucking drunk and he was holding the phone like a foot away from his face towards them, and he kept tilting his head to the side because he clearly wasn't aligning as well as he desired. believe me, i thought i was just being difficult at first, but then i mentioned it to my boyfriend and he watched him for a bit and agreed with me that he was most definitely being a pervert and seemed pretty content with others noticing this
