i just took a FAT BONG RIP and then checked the mail, a letter from the previous landlord stating that none of our deposit would be returned due to repairs.

it's incredibly fucking annoying that everything he listed as wrong was there at the time we moved in, AND we notified him of it and he did nothing. like a bunch of naive idiots, we, the tenants, didn't bother to make any sort of documentation about this interaction. he specifically complains about the pig destroyer i left on the master bedroom window.

i'm fairly pissed off. i wish i had a gun. guns solve everything.

landlords are a bunch of cocksuckers when it comes to this shit - this has happened to me a couple of times now

once it was for damage caused by previous tenants which weren't noted on the new condition report as they were going to be repaired (which they weren't)

were your security deposits big? in the 5 place i've rented it's usually been a month of rent. but my current place i'm leaving in 20 days was almost 3 month's rent worth. insane. and it's run down and 300 sq feet. stupid fucking lakeview.
